LETS TALK ABOUT WOMEN IN OUR PRISON - FREE EVENT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

National Council of Women ACT Inc invites you to attend a forum to discuss women in the ACT prison system. A specific focus on what happens whilst in the system and what supports are in place for post release.
Moderated by Jack Waterford (former editor of the Canberra Times) Panelists include members of The ACT Law Society, The ACT Bar Council, The Honourable Justice Richard Refshauge, Jon Stanhope AO (former ACT Chief Minister), Marcia Williams (CEO Women's Health Matters) and Dr Helen Watchirs OAM (ACT Human Rights Commissioner) along with Dr Caroline Doyle (President of Prisoners AID ACT)
There is no charge to attend this event and there will be time for questions from those in attendance to address the panel.
